Hi:I have a couple of 303's a MK4 and MK5they shoot good but the magazines loose rounds easy. They pop out when trying to put the mag in the gun. Can i squeeze them a bit to tighten them up? Dan

Enfield magazines are designed to be removable for cleaning purposes. You should be loading the rounds with the magazine already in the rifle.

I have occasionally had to tweak the front tabs to prevent the rounds from lifting at the front of the mag. Didn't take much to make it securely hold the rounds again.

I would like it to work because it is a truck gun used to jump out and shoot at game while traveling between hunting spots. Where do you get stripper clips or new mags? Thank's

For Mags, Marstar just got a shipment of New Old Stock No 4 and No.1 mags. You will need the No.4 mags for both your No.4 and No.5 rifles.

Stripper clips can be found on Ebay pretty regularly. That's where I got mine.

New mags might not solve your problem. Like mentioned they were designed for top loading.

I know it's the way it's done by the milsurp buffs, but I've never top loaded my no 1 mk3 custom sporter. It is a dedicated hunting rifle and has harvest the majority of the 40 plus deer I've killed in the past 20 years. It's mandatory to have the mag removed from the rifle while in or on a vehicle. I keep 2 mags in my mag pouch, and it is essential for them to do what a mag should do, and that is to securely hold rounds, in or out of the rifle. Tweaking the front tabs a hair solved my issues on the one mag, the other mag has been used and abused since the 60's when my dad bought the rifle from sears the year before I was born, so, 1968 :D
