Loose vs pellets in 777 cleanliness?

I am getting the dreaded “crud ring” in my inline muzzleloader from 777 pellets. I was using win209 primers and a switch to Kleanbore has helped a bit but not much. Also, this gun does not appear to like the 777 100gr pellet load. I was wondering if anyone has experience with 777 loose powder? I suspect being able to measure out and custom build a load will help with accuracy but will it be any cleaner or produce leas of a crud ring? (Before you suggest BH209 powder, I am well aware of it. But there is a better chance of finding a Liberal politician with common sense towards firearms than finding BH209 right now).
 
Loose powder and try and find some 209's that are muzzle loader specific. Regular 209's are bad for crud and they may be contributing to the grouping issue
Another option is Precision Rifles selection of lighting with small or large rifle primers. I am personally using the .25 brass with a 9 1/2 Rem small rifle primer, 100 grn loose T7 FFFg, PR 195 grn Dead Centre bullet which shoots 2"" high or low to 150 yds and I have yet to find a bullet in a deer from 4 yds to 150. Your mileage may vary but it works.
 
triple 7 3fg loose and work your load up to the sweet spot

precision rifle website has lots of reading and Mr Epp has been at it for many years... I just wish he would make is conicals again they were deadly
