Hey guys so yesterday me and the boys went out to the range with a bunch of guns including my VZ and proceeded to throw some lead down range at a human silhouette gong about 140 yards away. I didn't stop shooting for longer than 5 minutes for almost an hour and a half and threw about 150 rounds. I was hitting the gong damn near every shot until the last 25 rounds I didn't hit it once. It was about -2 out, and when I touched the barrel with my gloved hands I could tell it was pretty damn hot. Now I have a 2014 CSA vz58, with a CSA low side scope mount, and a eotech xps2 red dot on it. My question is can a barrel get that hot only after 150 rounds that I can't even hit a human at 140 yards. I went home after the range and cleaned the gun, I decided to put some blue thread lock on my eotech thinking it might have moved a bit and my scope mount was also tight. I know heat does open up a group but I have never shot that many rounds that quickly to notice it. So help me out with your expertise
Cheers
