Lost BC CORE Certificate: Need a NS Wildlife Card

Hello,

I moved to Nova Scotia and am trying to get my wildlife resource card but need to prove that I've completed the BC CORE. I do not have my CORE number or certificate. Does anyone know how I can prove to NS that I've already taken a hunter's ed course?

B.C. Lands and forest should have it registered if you email or call them with your name and previous address etc. wouldn't they?

Usually you Hunter Number card should be ok as you can not get that without your CORE. The former should be available from Service BC and the latter from the BCWF

I just called up BCWF and after about 30 seconds of explaining she had an email fired off with a very official looking letter. Too easy!

I went through this with my return letter after doing my core lost. The woman I talked to was fantastic and had an official email to me within minutes. Honestly one of the best experiences I've had with lost paperwork.

The BCWF is an excellent organization and they really do work hard for hunters. All of you BC residents should consider becoming a member.
