Lost Dog in Norfolk County

Great news!!

Just when you think you've heard enough griping and #####ing on this board something like this happens and reaffirms the fact that you are proud to be a Gunnut. I still find it amazing that people here will go out of their way to give a hand or support, no matter how small or large, to someone they don't even know. Granted, this was a special case, I've only lost a dog once, it was only for a very short period of time, I fretted the whole time.

we lost a beagle in the very same spot a few weeks ago the very same corner .some nice focks picked her up and called us the same night .we were very thank full to hasve her back .we dumped out four dogs to hunt rabbits and with in 5 minutes thy were off and running a bunch of deer thy kicked up .we did have a gps collar on one dog and were able to catch her as she crossed a road i did manage to catch the othr two as well but the fourth was to fast we just could not catch her .in 5 hours the gps read 21km .the other dog kept running till night fall so can only guess ow far she ran .the gps collars are a great item for peace of mind glad you got her back DUTCH
 
I',m six beers in the wind but I know whose reading this loves their dofs, and to that a big cheers with mt dogs at my feet. If any loclas are up far it, run 'em again Monday? They'll come back this time. right?

As an aside, for the guys who asked, I've had good luck with both the little tag with a name/phone number, as well writing that same name/number on the dog's collar in big black letters with a sharpie.
