Lost gunsmith.....

Please excuse my persistance but....I tried this thread on the "Gunsmith" forum and had limited success so thought I'd try it here. I am looking for Lloyd Johnson who used to have a shop near Beaverton Ontario....Lake Simcoe area. He makes rifles from scratch and specialized in historic Canadian Rifles.... caplock. I would appreciate any info. Thanks....Dave

I found his name listed as a blacksmith in 2005 Forge, The Blacksmith Journal.

I didn't have time to read the Forge journal. I down loaded it on line, maybe you can read the magazine to see if there's any further info.

His phone number is 705-426-5396. I was at his shop this spring for a blacksmith meeting. One of the things he did was forge a barrel for a few inches. I spoke with him by phone afterwards. He has built a few muzzleloaders.
