Old age is setting in, and I can't seem to find my hunter card.. I have the certificate with my number on it.. will that be enough to renew my license?

...then, I guess I have to get a new hunter card at some point... can I get that at a Govt Agent office?

the certificate has you're hunters number just like the card, i see no reason you can't.

No, you have to have the actual card in your hand to buy a hunting licence. As the clerk at the store where you buy your licence does not have access to the provincial data-base he or she has no way to know if the number on your certificate is still valid.

Also while you can keep the certificate forever if you ever loose your hunting privileges or move away from BC you are supposed to surrender your Hunter Cards to the ministry.
