Pizzed off.
I bring it out to the range to finally really stretch it's legs, and on the second shot, something pops. I know my first was a reload, but those were all made awhile back (and barely compressed IMR 4895 in a .308, I may add.)
More interestingly, the second shot was Federal Tactical 165gr. IE should have been gravy for this rifle.

Just as I'm packing I realize something is rattling in one of the mags. The ball bearing for the extractor.

Dagnammit...
As you can guess, as I attempt to fix this on the bench (had the range all to myself all afternoon)... The effen' bearing goes FLYING out the opening into the grass.
Anyone know who (or what) can fix this?
Cheers fellow nutz!
P.S.
I'm incredibly happy my life does not depend on this Savage rifle.
