I'd suggest getting another one, there is some good info in there. A real good study book as well that show's you all the birds,big game etc in full description.

The Ontario book is a good "all in one" book covering the basics of most topics you need to know about hunting and the operation of guns.
Only thing they could do to make it better is make it with a hardcover, and make the over all size smaller so you can pack it in your bag with you!

I just don't want to bother buying a new one if I have to. I was planning on making a PDF version of my own and putting it on my pocket pc (along with everything else I can get my hands onto).
Northwoodslivin - I don't mean cheap as in don't want to spend anything on hunting. I meant cheap as in want to save as much as I can. If what i've read on this board is true, I'm in for a very expensive and addictive time!
