Exactly! NICE range its. Its presteen from what I can see. Almost like you set up shop at a golf course and decided this is the firing line. Good to see! Now only if you were on the same side of Canada as me.

Check out Leo D'amour's rigs if you get a chance. He's the guy towing the little cart at the bottom right of the last pic. Listen when he starts to talk about strategy- he's got it down.

If i'm not mistaken, its is rifle that you see in the second pic! (green rifle)

Its the same colour stock, but I don't think its Leo's rifle. It has a US yellow chamber flag and Leo uses a pito tube cover. Also Leo never brings a case with foam cut outs on the range. Just the bear rifle in his Fold-it Cart.

900 meters two ranges,1 300meter

"A" Range is 600 yard, "C" Range is 900m and "D Range is 300m. There is also a pistol range down beside "D" range plus a shotgun range for Trap and Skeet. The great thing about the fullbore matches is that you never have to go to the butts. They hire a bunch of school girls from Smith's Falls that are world renowned for their target marking.

F shooter in the first photo looks to be Norb Y. from upstate NY. One of the biggest changes coming at Connaught will be a dividing berm separating A Range (100-600y) from the other ranges. Last year a dividing berm was built separating D range (100-300m) from the adjacent long ranges. There is a concern that the construction of this second berm will have a major effect on wind patterns.
If you have never shot at Connaught, it is something that should be on your "to do" list. Next year the World Long Range Championship (Palma) will be held there, following completion of the DCRA Fullbore Matches.

You can shoot there several times a week with NCRRA.

That would be great but the 8 hour commute each way would be a killer:(
On the other hand Cedar Springs is only 15 minutes from my door, too bad it is only 600 yards:mad:
