Loudest .22 LR Round

CCI Velocitor. 22lr blanks are probably noisiest rounds. You may also look into muzzle break/ flash hider things to firther amplify sound levels. Or/and cut your barrel to shortest length you can meet legality with. Generally, any conical shape will speed up escaping gases creating bigger bang and diminishing flash, its a trade off thing, temperature (read - flash) traded for speed (read - bang).

A shorter aftermarket barrel, 10", 11", 12" will make any ammo louder than out of a 18"-20" barrel, a muzzle brake will help too.

Amercan Eagle has a distinctly louder report than most of the stuff shot at the range. I would think any of the hyped up hunting bullets would be the same.

Discharge a 22 handgun under cover for extended sessions and after a while it won't make a difference how loud it is.
