Lousy Scope

I bought a Savage Axis in .223 with scope package and I fired about 120 rds so far it is great and its very accurate. A dime will cover 4 of 5 rd grouping at 100. So I cant complain about my bargain varminter/plinker. I guess I just must be one of the lucky ones? lol

The young chap that hangs around here had the same thing
happen with his Savage III and the toss away Bushnell scope.
I think he managed a dozen rounds before the clock face turn too.
 
Going to the range tomorrow morning to sight in the replacement scope for the POS original cheapo! It should stand up better because it's a bushnell about 23 years old. I think at that time they were still made in North America not China.
It better work because Friday morning my son and I are off to chase Bamby for a while. :)
