When the I attended le club de tir...Haute Gatineau / Danford Lake annual meeting a few weeks ago, I was sitting besides Lou The Pou. I had related to him all of the problems that my friend had found in my Tula 1951 SKS-45 Refurb's trigger group.

As the club executive brought the meeting to order and proceeded with the agenda, Louis in about 5 minutes sketched out a flow chart of how the Russian refurbishing is accomplished. It is hilarious and I must share it with SKS lovers/haters.

is it me or is the second guy from the left is his rifle missing the top cover and the bolt. Great drill tem LOL I quess they have never herd of a fm22-5
 
Those rifles are beat to hell. Look at the goof offs on the right. They look like the office supply corp after a few to many drinks. There probably hopped up on something else though if they're muslims. It definitely looks like a bunc of drill purpose rifles put into service for some clowning around. Whoever they are, the rest of their kit is in good repair and their boots are new and shiney. I can't make out any insignia or rank designations either. I suspect a bunch of them got together for a fun shot.
Most African troops I've seen, tend to look pretty sharp and professional. They may not be fellows you want to introduce to your mother or sister. Maybe the mother in law or sister in law though.
 
They aren't clowning around. The right hand marker is looking straight ahead so they go in a straight line, the rest are eyes right as a salute. They are just ill trained. And their boots are not shiny :).

Fully agree. Boots, I hazard a guess that many have been bare foot most of the time or wore cheap Chinese runners. Anyway, if they had decent SKS-45s with 10 round mags or worse, AK-47s, I'd not like to meet them in the bush :(.

It would be interesting to have a translation of words the image. Anybody out there who can do it?
