You know the feeling, shortness of breath, white knuckles as you hold it for the first time? That feeling when you have just met a firearm that really "does it" for you?
Well thats what happened to me last week when I received this Browning Safari chambered in .375 H+H. I've had a couple .375's over the years and currently own a Mauser .375 Taylor, but this is the first F.N. Browning rifle I've had the pleasure to own. Now I just need to find dies and brass for the beast.
Here's some pic's.
Cheers

Notice the super low serial number?! No "salt stock" here.

Nice looking gun. She"s going to have some tork to her. Are you putting a scope on it or shooting it open sights?

.375 Browning.

I have a spare Leupold 4x I plan to mount. I plan to take it to Alberta in September for Elk/deer along with my 7X57 and .375 Taylor. Might only take it out on nice days, but deserves to go hunting I think.

They are an awesome rifle...it won't let you down.
Bought mine new in the 1960s and its filled the freezer countless times. :)

Looks identacal to the one that just showed up here. Only mine is the short extracter. I've got a Stainless Cassic for serious tripps, but these are nice old guns. Yours is very nice.
