This was a strange one. I knew that there was a reason why Lapua is the choice ammo the biathlon circuit, but when Chris contacted me was hesitant to recommend it, since the groups did not correlate to what my understanding is. Then I thought about it a little and the thing is in biathlon they always shoot cold guns. I mean they shoot 5-8 shots in fairly rapid pace, but that is maybe enough to foul the barrel for the last few shots if even. Also biathlon guys are not known to take super great care of their guns. So I suggested that he would try Biathlon Sport and the results surprised us both. Now we are both so curious we will try to put some other biathlon ammo through the paces and see how it does.
