Love it or hate it, blue flagging tape

I wish I could find some blue flagging tape, all I ever see is orange, yellow and pink. I have the same issues finding those colours in the bush but the blue I can point out form a good distance away very easily. I generally don't use it for marking trails, unless I'm going through somewhere new and want to take the same way back, but I do use it for finding exact spots again such as where I hang scent bombs or where I found good sign or where an animal was when shot if it ran, blood etc...

See if you can figure out where your local surveyors shop. They should have most colours available, you’ll probably have to buy a tube though(I think it’s ten rolls to a tube, but it might be twelve)

Yes I’m the last person you want to look for a blood trail as well. Useless wandering!
I listen very carefully after the shot, and watch the deer as long as possible. Often you can hear it fall and know where to look, it's served me well over the years, cause blood trails and leaves look much the same to me.
Also, are red squirrels really red? or Brown? they sure look brown to me. Foxes look orange, or what I perceive as orange.

Seems like a common problem. I work in the woods and - while I can see the orange or red tape - it doesn't stand out at all. The blue/white stripe sticks out the best for me. And I'm hopeless at trying to pick out wild strawberries in a patch. Everyone else is gobbling them up by the handful and I struggle to find one or two. Blueberries, on the other hand.....

Home Hardware carries it in blue. They call their flagging tape, surveyors tape.
