Love the Steyr Mannlicher rifles, here come the pistol Steyr L9 A1....

Great pistol, first outing, 550 rounds of various weight, recoil is very tamed almost 22 lrish, incredible accuracy, the trigger is soooo good and no hiccup whatsoever, would i have find out about those pistols sooner, i would not have bought any other makes of striker pistols, yesterday just bought the new production M40 A1 with the trapezoid sights, should be here in a very near future...JP.

Pretty glowing comments. Ever since owning a Walther P99, no other polymer frame gun could match it for me. Maybe i'll have to give the Steyr a better try and see.

On the other hand, i have no knowledge of the Walter P99 but the Steyr pistols are equally or even better of what i have seen so far in the world of striker pistol... M40 A1 on the way and working hard to bring in a M357 A1 as well... Just cant sit here and stay passive when there is such nice performing pistols out there... JP.

do they make one in 357 sig? the 357 sig is a pretty neat round.

Always thought is would be fun to drop a 357 barrel into a Glock 24 but the 24s are hard to find. Guess i could try the same on a model 35.

Yes the M357 A1 is a reality and i will own one for sure... The 357 Sig is balliticly one hell of a caliber, it is on par for stopping power with the 357 mag 125 gr, quite impressive from a semi auto pistol... JP.

350 rounds of Wolf 135 gr lead round bullet, trouble free... This Steyr love lead bullets... Did increase a lot the speed of my shooting and i am able to keep around the same size groups ( i give most of the credit to the lack of muzzle flip and the great trigger), very happy with that... JP.

I had one for a bit earlier this year and while I really liked its feel and accuracy the lack of a precise, tactile trigger reset eventually bothered me enough to sell it.

The only thing i can say, is both my Les Baer and my Steyr L9 ( they are on par to each other)have the best triggers of my herd, it is well documented that in 2010 all the new production Steyr pistols got the trigger upgrade ( roll pin under the rear sight ) that did bring this trigger to expectations... JP.

I'm wondering how you seem to know so much about the Steyr trigger when your finger literally flies off of it after each shot? I watched your video in a different thread and you are totally wasting the blissful experience that your Steyr has to offer.

I had a Steyr L9 A1 up on the EE a few months ago and it was traded...Thing is it was a hard sell...And the thing about that is it is easily better than any Glock I've owned and equal to the Walther PPQ that I owned...I wondered why it wasn't selling until now...I guess you all just didn't know how good a pistol it is or you were turned off by the M series...Either way I kind of regret that trade...I'd buy an L9 A1 again anytime...

Well, I got my L9A1 and 4 mags off the EE a couple months ago. Best $600 I've ever spent! It was hard to tell it was even fired. I've put just over 2000 rounds through it with no issues whatsoever and love it!
