Had my vz58 in 7.62x39 out for the first time this morning..... Dear gentle god .... What a beast, love it. Now looking for a lot more mags, muzzle break and aluminum for end :) .... New addiction . Ar might not see light of day for a few months

All 6!!!!! Darn. I think you want to sell me one of your FSN's!!!

Yeah my go to rifle fpr sure aside from my Theuron Defence 40 cal.

Despite the CSA issues I had at first there is no gun I have had more fun with! Best 1000 bucks I have spent in years.

Now I really want to re-barrel an FSN with a Dlask stainless non-restricted barrel! Feel free to PM me if anyone wants to off load one.

Thanks,

Andrew
Yes sirs, i love all 6 of mine!!!!

I love my FSN VZ58 and my TDC (which has Magpul furniture on it now - not pictured)!

I love my CSA VZ58 but once the bolt broke, I sold right out. Await a new design one from Wolverine then My AR won't see some light again.

My CZ858 used to go on almost every range trip with me. Also a few non range trips!! I took the Swiss Arms out the other day and the CZ858 will go out next time. It's just such a fun firearm to shoot.

I just had to send mine to movie arms to replace a broken bolt and fix the gas system and I'm missing it already. This gun is the most fun rifle I've ever shot, cant wait to get it back!

I like mine so much, I went out and bought a complete gun minus thr recever. And I have only fired 2 rounds out of it lol. But my girlfriend and daughters boyfriend have shoot it a lot. I just have to make a trigger that I can use with no fingers.

...really becoming addicted to red rifles...SO much fun!!! ...every day with bad weather i step out in the evening and let loose with my SKS/reflex sight (i live in remote area) on some steel ...so much fun!!! (reminds me of shooting floating wooden blocks with my .22 when i was a kid!!! (only better!!!))

...so some questions about your vz58's

...how accurate are they?
....223 or 7.62?
...where to buy a wood stocked vz58?
...are they restricted?
...(now the kicker) if these are legal then why not the cz858?

...just a guy who's hunted for 40 years and is now discovering RR's!

thanks

(you already have the convert, just show me to the altar! :))

Haha....I forgot about shooting floating wooden blocks when I was a kid. I'll have to try that again.

Upcoming Wolverine Supply 958, with your preferred wood option. I know I'm getting at least one:

I prefer the VZ58 in x39 for ammo cost.
No wood stock VZ58 at the moment. Most are black polymer or telescoping stock. You can retrofit them with a beaver barf or wood stocks sold on EE.
VZ58 non-restricted in the long barrel version. There are 7.5" and 11.8" restricted versions available too.
858 has a slightly different receiver versus the VZ58 receiver. In reality the 858 receiver issues are trumped up hogwash, but you can read about that in other threads.

A general comment on x39 accuracy, as determined by ammo testing, courtesy of Ganderite:
