Hey guys,
I was hoping that someone could recommend an inexpensive target load that won't give me any problems.
Well I recently bought a 2003 3.5" browning gold hunter and I finally ended up trying the gun. It cycles all high brass loads with no problems what so ever from 2 3/4 to 3 1/2. Only problem is when I shoot some of the cheaper winchester low brass target loads I get some failures to eject once in a while. Sometimes it cycles them with no problems and other times the shells just get caught at the very end of the brass or lip on the way out during ejection. I've shot some older sellier & bellot low brass target loads with no problems at all and a few other older random low Brass target loads as well with no problems either. I can't find these old target loads anymore they were all just older shells I had laying around in ziploc bags from a long time ago and it would be nice if I could get cheap target shells that will always eject with no problems rather than using more expensive game loads when shooting clays.
I just want to know if anyone has had similar problem s with their semis? Will high velocity target loads work? Can anyone recommend some common and easy to get cheap target loads or high brass target loads that will work?
I was planning on just buying a few differenttarget loads and trying them out and if i have problems just use them in my pumps but it would be nice if I didn't have to experiment haha. I really like the gun , it shoots well and feels nice so I dont want to get rid of it for a minor annoyance like that. I know it will cycle low brass with no problems because of the older shells I shot, just not the winchester target loads that I was using. Im just hoping to get some recommendations.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks

I have seen a lot of shooters having problems with their guns cycling the cheaper Winchester shells.
