Low light pistol and carbine course, Abby F&G, 19-20 Jan 2013 and 23-24 Feb, 2013

Just wanted to say thanks to Earl for putting on another great course and to Doc911 for hosting at a great facility.

I have to say that this course was one of the most interesting I've attended. Low light ads a whole new dimension to training and brings up issues with gear and manipulations that you just never consider, but should!

As usual, Earl's knowledge and experience with the subject matter is impressive, and the information exchange was large. To those taking the course next month; bring a note pad and pen, as there is lots of good information to take away.

Awesome course. Earl always delivers a good product. As Clobb mentioned, this course brings a whole new different dimension (and stress) to running a pistol or carbine. You really have to know your set up intimately, or else you might have problems (like a light popping off your pistol after a couple of rounds? Heheh). The cold added another element too.

I'll definitely be adding low light drills to my own regimen when I can.

Videos and photos are being worked on right now. I'm hoping to have them ready by either this or next week.

Oh yeah - the Flying Light!! MY Flying Light!!

So, I got home and examined the pistol light and found that the mounting bracket on it had cracked around one of the screws. I emailed InForce and spoke to the VP of LE/Mil sales and he is shipping me a whole new light today.

He advised me that there was an issue with the very fiirst batch of lights that has since been rectified.

Sorry for the long wait folks, I have photos up now. Video will be up later (hopefully not too much later).

Be sure to dress up warmly and prepare for rain on day 2. Last time we were freezing quite nicely at the end of Day 2. Also, be sure to bring snacks and lunch, there's so much to go through that breaks were a little sparse. Not complaining though, we were having so much fun and learning so much last time we didn't really want long breaks.

I'd agree. It was really good to get out and meet some great people and do some shooting. Thanks to Earl for keeping the crew lively
"And switched the f$&@ on".

I took a lot from the course. Specifically, B.A.D's are bad and my AR likes to run wet.

I'm jacked to get us signed up for a couple more course over the coming months.
