Well, I'm waiting the Powder measure to be back from Dillon, since mine was OLD from the 1st Gen.
No BS warranty service said, since I cannot upgrade mine onto the New powder safe's one, they will send me the new one free of charges. waiting.... waiting....

Meantime, I am board, so started to sketch up how to make a LOW Primer alarm like Dillon's newer RL 550B/C has.

But will add an light flashing warning as well.
Not sure how would it work out, but here are my thoughts:

- selective switch to:
a- Standard buzzer
b- Light flashing (from a cheap bicycle warning light)
c- combo (buzz + light)
- Low battery Two or one LED indicator that flashes when low

What do you guys think?:p:d

HERE IS THE FOLLOWER MADE UP FROM :
- BBQ GAS FITTING
- BRASS THUMB SCREW
- DOLLAR STORE TOMATO PLANT HOLDER (THE GREEN WIRE WAS A CIRCULAR RING)

I can’t make any sense out of what your planning to do with those components.

Based on your functional plan I think your goals are way over the top. A buzzer works perfectly. So would a light I suppose but I can’t see the need for a light over the buzzer unless your deaf.

The low battery indicator is kind of nice but the brief momentary use of the buzzer means the battery will die from shelf life expiry before you use it up. So just change it once every few years and forget about it. Or test it for sound before you load the primers everytime you empty a tube into the press.
