I chopped the barrel on my BRNO 602 .375 H&H rifle from 25" to 20". The original front sight was re-installed but was now too high due to the barrel contour.

I purchased a #7 0.223" high CZ bead sight as a replacement.

I tried it out at the range yesterday with Federal 270 gr Powershoks. I had the rifle on a front rest only, I shouldered the stock without a rear bag. The target was set at 100 yards, I used the factory express sights and held dead centre. I used the set trigger for each shot.

I think the new front bead is a keeper!

Great shooting with irons:D

I just bought a 602 in 375 off a buddy and I think I might get the barrel bobbed a bit as well.

Did you buy the new sight in Canada?
