Lower Kits Recommendations

As title states looking for advice on what lower kits people recommend for builds. Any suggestions of good stuff, or stuff to stay away from. I'm currently collecting parts for an AR build

Any reason why you'd recommend it over the DPMS kit or the Armalite kit with the 2 stage trigger?

One of the best lpk kits in the world.
If you dont like the trigger, get a good trigger, you wont find a good trigger in a 100$ lpk kit, no matter what that trigger is.

Yes that one. They went up because of the crappy dollar. At one point they were $109.

Get the ALG lpk from arms east. It's 67 bucks and no useless A2 grip and no basic mil spec trigger.
If you need a trigger, the get the ALG ACT trigger as well from arms east for 89.99. Everyone I recommend the ACT trigger to gets my own personal guarantee, if you don't like it ill buy it off you.

As far as I know, the daniel defence LPK runs 140-150?? Buying both the ALG lpk and ACT trigger is about 156, and you get a fantastic trigger and not a plain Jane mil spec DD trigger.

If you don't like the trigger put Geissele triggers into them. I have SSA in everything.

If the AR15 lower is not mil spec, maybe yes, maybe no

Obviously I'd prefer to save some money, but 30 something bucks doesn't bother me if it's good stuff.

Right now, I'm heavily leaning towards the Spike's lowers, so I imagine I'll be going with a mil-spec lower.

I used a JP LPK and it works great. I'm currently working on two builds and used BCM LPK for one and a ALG kit ( minus grip minus trigger) for the other. Both seem like great quality. The only reason I didn't use DD for my first build was because they weren't I stock, and I used a SSA-e trigger.

I've used dpms before and had no issues.

Again, newb question. Are Colt Canada receivers "colt large pin"? Is the difference obvious?

Colt Canada are milspec. Colt large pin was a bastardization that was intended to make it harder to put FA parts in a civilian gun.
