Lower Kits Recommendations

I'm slowly upgrading all my AR's to ambi capability.

I have a daughter who's a lefty and she will benefit with ambi control on my AR's

That's the main reason why I'm going ambi on my firearms

I supposed there isn't really any reason not to go ambi then.

I'd personally stay away from a S&J lpk right now until they sort out some of their production issues. The set I bought the trigger and hammer pins were too large, you can read about that here http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/1421714-Hammer-and-Trigger-Pin-s and I'm still waiting on my replacement pins. The bolt catch pin on mine was a pain to fit and my ambi safety wouldn't rotate. From that thread you can tell that I wasn't the only one who had issues with the hammer and trigger pins and there are some other members here who also had issues with the bolt catch pin where it just wouldn't go in.

Also if you're set on buying a s&j kit I would look at getting it from one of their dealers instead of directly from S&J, S&J's been super busy and they haven't been communicating you can look at their sub forum to form your own opinion. Don't get me wrong some I have some other S&J manufactured products which are fine including their mil spec buffer tube so I probably will buy s&j parts again in the future but probably not directly from s&j.

I have personally used the Spikes enhanced kit twice and have also recently picked up the Daniel Defense Kit. I will let you know how the DD Kit is but the Spikes are definitely good to go
