Lower Mainland 10/22 parts.

Where can I get 10/22 stuff in greater Vancouver? I am looking for a bolt buffer and maybe a extended mag release. I am not too keen on mail-order and prefer to see the items I am buying in person and not on a computer monitor.
I tried the usual suspects: Italian, Reliable, etc, but no-one I've talked to stocks the parts and will have to order them in.

I just had Barry do the trigger on my 10/22 and he suggested I get the Volq etc stuff myself as it would cost me less. I really like dealing with him-never had a gunsmith say that to me. Does great work too. Order from Brownells and get it fast and 1/2 price roughly. None of the shops I deal with in the lower mainland stock any stuff like that. They will order but I can get it much faster and much cheaper. P&D too. Wholesale used to stock some but not much. P&D will likely have a booth at the Kamloops gunshow and it is a Gi-effin-normous display-you want it then just buy it. And cowboys on horseback provide security-how cool is that eh?

Sorry-assumtion on my part. Barry is Barry Jensen of Bits of Pieces and seems to be a favorite smith in this area. See
info@bitsofpieces.com. P&D is P&D Enterprises see www.p-d-ent.com and Wholesale is Wholesale Sports or www.wholesalesports.com. If you follow these forums these names will come up often and are favorite sites to get stuff from. Check them out. The Kamloops show referred to is the Heritage Arms Collector Society gun show and is monthly in the lower mainland and the Kamloops show is a large 2day event worth checking out in April. I think it is www.hacs.com. Email me if you need further info and I will get it for you.

I talked to Kelly while shopping for my 10/22 and I got the impression he was getting out of the firearms business. I'll go in and ask again.

Bits of Pieces it is then. Now I just have to get out to Delta! :D
