Lower receivers.. Cadex vs. Socom.. ??

I like the design around the mag release on the cadex... I have a spikes and love it.... I like the atrs one too, but I'd get the matching upper as well

It's hobby not an investment, there is no such thing as "better resale" value, they only reason something used cost more is because they start off costing more.

SOCOM lowers are made by contract, I heard at least 3 different companie names mentioned when it comes to SOCOM lowers, i have even seen a LMT lower with a SOCOM logo.

If you are sticking to Canadian made lower than CADEX and ATRS are pretty good but pricy, DLASK and NEA just as good quality, throw in a good DD lower parts kits the price will be just about even.
I don't meen to be a ##### but have you ever handled a ATRS or cadex 15 lower. They are the definition of a perfect lower. You can't compair them to anything else

I love the bevel above the trigger guard.

The flared magwell on these is kinda erotic as well. :)

No problem putting Redi-Mods/Redi-Mags on them.

Instead of opening the trigger guard you just slide one side of the Redi-Mod through and then spread it open to fit up and over the magwell.

Agreed those pics highlighted some neat little features I never noticed before... They're pretty convincing

I love the bevel above the trigger guard.

+1, and I've said that before. I'd prefer if the trigger guard itself was also bevelled all around its circumference like a flared magwell to better guide a gloved trigger to the trigger by feel, but the Cadex is the only lower I know of that has at least partially the bevel I'd like to see in my dream billet lower.

Try and get a better photo for you when I get back from SHOT. Stole a page from NEA marketing 101 ;) The Redi-Mod also blocks quite a bit of this one.

She ain't as purdy as she use to be before getting out on the town every week :D
