Lowers, LPK, etc... availability?

Been sitting on the fence for too long...

My son joined the cadets and the other day they had him shooting a C7 (converted to a laser gun). He usually sits behind his computer, so I'm pleasantly surprised that he shows some interest in something that doesn't have a keyboard.

I thought it would be a nice joint project to assemble an AR15 type rifle that actually goes boom. But the impression I get from glancing at a few threads is that getting the parts is going to be a struggle with the latest run on these guns in the US.

So... are there still dealers out there with stripped lowers, lower part kits, etc...? SOLD OUT are words I see on number of the dealers' websites that advertize here.

i managed to put mine together in the last month or so. It takes a while to find all the parts but perseverance is what you need to hunt down these components. Especially if you're picky.
