Lowest mounts and rings for new Winchester model 70 Compact

I’m having difficulty finding mounts/rings for my new rifle. Weaver rail I picked up didn’t fit. Leupold rail is substantially thicker even though it’s O MOA. Can you get Talleys in extra low? I have a 1.75-6x32mm Leupold so scope clearance really not an issue, I just like my scopes as low as possible. Thanks!
 
I would say leupold based with low tings. Leupold has a base / ring calculator on their website which is handy. Other will have first hand experience with other brands which might be different.

I have Leupold DD bases, medium rings and a 2.5-8x36mm which could be about a 1/4 lower to the barrel if that helps.
 
Talley extra lows should work with that scope on a short action m70.
The extended extra lows work on a long action m70 but you'd need a scope with a longer tube to clear them, like a vx3 3.5-10 etc.
 
Don't forget to allow for bolt handle clearance at the rear eye piece! I don't know the eye piece diameter of your scope - I have a rifle that I went to "upgrade" scopes - new one has larger diameter eyepiece - old scope fit fine, new one needed higher rings to clear the bolt.
