Sorry for the crappy thread title, but I'm trying to figure out my options when it comes to red dots that sit very low on a rail. I'm in the market for a red dot for my VZ58 equipped with the dust cover scope mount, and my Eotechs and Aimpoints all sit too high for a good cheek weld. How low to the Aimpoint Micros sit? Are there any other options out there?

i briefly had a Vortex Strikefire low mount on mine (which is goin for sale), sat nice an low. switched back to a handguard mount pistol scope for magnification reasons (gettin old i suppose)

Bushnell TRS 25
Might be too cheap for what you are looking for......but the quality is good and it sits very low.

+1 bushnell trs-25
I know it's cheap Price but quality is really good very rugged!! It's a quality red dot in my opinion( my life doesn't depend on it though). I have other more expensive red dots and an eotech and I'm going to buy a couple more trs-25's. Cabelas.ca has them in stock $129
This is with the NEA front hanguard
