LPVO scopes on brush rifles - low power variable optic

Vortex Viper PST2 with illuminated center dot. But if this was strictly a "brush" rifle for shots under 50 yards, I would just go with a red dot. I use LPVO's on these rifles as they get used in terrain that may be 10 yards or may be 400 yards.

It took me Years to put a scope on a brush gun,I'm talking thick brush.i felt cramped and restricted, until my eyes went down hill on a break less buggyt, hen 1x4 was practical and it took getting used too, if my stayed strong, iron sights please.

Apparently, I will be the "heretic" old guy and suggest you look at fixed power scopes. I have spent some time in the bush, and shot some game - do not ever remembering having time to adjust things - if I got the animal, up close, it was shot with how stuff was set, as I was carrying it. So, I do not really understand modern thought about need for "variable" power. It likely has its place when you have time - has not been my experience close up in bush at all - no time. Get a 2.5, 3 or even 4 power. Learn to shoot with both eyes open. It works. Let your brain / eyes do any "adjusting" needed.
