Does anyone know of an Alberta organization that does long range rifle competition? I would appreciate the contact info for any 1000 yard shoots

Most of the LR is done at the Homestead range (west of Calgary).
Check with APRA - the season is pretty much done and should start up again in the Spring (April 08).
IF you want to come down a see/try the range send me a PM.

Not a competition, but keep an eye open for the annual Summer Land shoot done by Mysticplayer. Worth the trip.

...and if fullbore or prone bench res... I mean 'F class' isn't your bag, you could try precision rifle.
The CSRA runs precision rifle matches from Homestead as well. Contact 'Savage' here on the board.
