The good folks over at JAE sent me a stock to play around with and share my experiences with you all. This is a phenomenal chassis! It took me a whole 5 minutes to install my rifle in this chassis. Much more to come in the coming months. They even threw in an engraved cheek rest for me.

This is definitely going to be my 1,000yd gun. I think I might have to try the "Nuclear Nez" round in this one.

As pictured, with a full 20 round magazine is exactly 16.5 pounds.

This is what a $6,500USD M14 looks like.

Now comes the exhausting task of testing and reporting....[sigh]

Tony.

I feel your pain. Having to shoot and test such a "terrible" gun must be a real strain. I'm just glad that it's you and not me that has to suffer through such an ordeal

That must suck, I'll take it off your hands to compliment mine...

JAE, not Archangel. Totally different manufacturers.

I'm pretty sure that was sarcasm. We really need a sarcasm imogi. But, yes the Archangel does come in tan (FDE). Although comparing this to an Archangel is like comparing a VW bug with a fibreglass kit to a real Ferrari

To be clear.... It is in fact not legal to buy or own in Canada.

The A1A enfield product (the bolt gun) does have an available 20round magazine. But Enfield rifles are limited to 10 rounds as per the firearms act.

Wrong product/rifle, though the 10 round A1A mags are nice. The correct product for the correct rifle is in fact a legal 20 round magazine that happens to fit in M14 pattern rifles.

I'm with Notsorichguy. I do know that there was a 20 round mag for the AIA, but that it was not approved for sale because of the wording of the Firearms act. If there is another magazine available I am unaware of it.

Are you perhaps talking about a certain magazine for a certain bolt action rifle in the 700 series? I believe I know of them and am going to look into it tomorrow morning.

I personally would not want to get into a discussion with law eenforcemen regarding interpretation of a law that could leave my family without a care provider.

I'm fine with 5 shots in my semi automatic centerfires to avoid such issues.

Each to thier own, however.
