I personally would not want to get into a discussion with law eenforcemen regarding interpretation of a law that could leave my family without a care provider.

I'm fine with 5 shots in my semi automatic centerfires to avoid such issues.

Each to thier own, however.

I would never suggest doing anything that would put you or your family at risk, but the 20 round magazine we're discussing falls into the realm of loopholes similar to the 10-round LAR15 mags in the average AR15

As pictured, with a full 20 round magazine is exactly 16.5 pounds.

This is what a $6,500USD M14 looks like.

That's about what my 1000 yard M21A5 EBR weighed & cost.

I reduced the weight by more than three pounds just by installing it in a Blackfeather "RS".
