Any thoughts on what glass/rings you're going to run on the M25, or is the plan to keep her in the buff a stick with the NM irons? It'd be nice to see this little darlin together... hint hint..

All parts packaged up and being sent out this week to have the barrels put on the receivers, etc. You will see pics soon. ;) I'm looking at possibly getting a US Optics SN-3 1.8-10x T scope with a set of ARMS #22 low quick detach rings ... just need to come up with the funds for this scope set-up.

Well I finally got two trigger assemblies so I can complete my LRB builds ... wow over a yr now I put these to the side as other things came up and I sold some parts to friends who needed/wanted them. I see ARMTAC is now selling LRB tankers ... must resist! HAHAHA.

Well...

It's an LRB M25 with LRB bolt, heavy Krieger barrel, unitized gas system, Sadlak Spring Guide. All parts are national match, GI or better. FFP Scope and rings are from IOR Valdada.

As far as accuracy goes.... it's too early to say. At first I noticed it was spreading shots laterally and then I realized the front band was rubbing on the stock. I read about this on the net and they say it is not uncommon for guys to machine the front band so it is clear. Well this has now been done and I am certain the barrel and gas system is free floating.

I'll be shooting it at Cedar Springs on the June 16 weekend from 300 meters for the first time since the front band adjustment, so that will tell the accuracy tale with no excuses.

I'll keep you posted on the results.

Aren't these guns 5-6 times the cost of a M305. Will they be 5-6 times more accurate? Just asking

And still some guys just don't get it.

Or do they? The only benefit to LRB recievers is it forged and well finished which set them apart from the pack stateside. This side of the border we have access to Norcs which are forged with ok finishing. Realistically accuracy and reliability deltas will be nominal at best and nothing at worst.

What it comes down to is throughout history that are always though who are willing to pay more for what are marketed as "premium" products, be it toilet paper or clothes. LRB are better finished... is that worth the premium? Absolutely... if you can afford it;), but then its only expensive if you can't.

I don't think I go down this road but according to my wife I've spent more on rifles before that had less value to her, but I'd consider an M25 for instance... and I do appreciate a premium build when I see it along with the sourcing, hard work and planning it takes to make it happen.

I live 10 minutes from Detroit.

As for the LRB vs Norinko debate... It's really simple.

Have you ever tried to get an ATF Form 6 to bring a Norinko into the USA?

Good luck!!! It won't happen.

LRB or Springfield - no problem.

If you hunt in the states or shoot the Nationals at Camp Perry your Norinko aint coming.
