Did you check and see if Armtac has what you want in stock or has one already on the way.
I did..... But at 225% of USD cost from LRB direct (and Armtac's stuff isn't LRB) I was looking for a cheaper route....
Specifically I'm looking for a bolt (need one to complete this build), I'll take a nork, but I'd prefer a USGI.... (Unobtainium) I've heard of some problems fitting the Fulton armoury bolts into Nork receivers, but the LRB bolts drop right in (more or less).... The Fulton armoury bolt at armtac is priced at 450, plus I would have to buy guts for it (extractor, firing pin, ejector and springs) for another $120, so 580 (ish)complete...... The LRB bolt at LRB is complete and priced at $250 USD. Brokerage etc. of $150 CDN (some importers here in Canada charge $250 per part) if I order just the one part. (Price per part goes down the more I order). Add to that $75 in exchange costs, that complete LRB bolt is $475(+-) to my door, the Fulton armoury bolt (which may not fit) is $660 (taxes and shipped)..... The Fulton armoury bolt is in stock, the LRB would be 6-8 weeks away.....
Don't even get me started on the USGI parts kits at Armtac...... $1050+, a more "complete" kit from LRB is $530 (they include a stock), add the brokerage and exchange and I'm still saving $200......
I'm seriously considering making as big an order as my line of credit will allow and going into business in competiotion with the site sponsor..... I realise that a squirrel gets the nut, but I have some trouble giving the squirrel 50 nuts when 20 nuts is reasonable..... I have 2 or 3 builds I would like to do in the foreseeable future, I could just bite the bullet and order all the parts I "think" I may need for all 3 builds....
My very humble opinion...... By all means set me straight!
