LRM primers in stock

Thanks for the heads up. $35 shipping means I'm out though. Not paying basically $40 a sleeve, not that desperate yet...

I am that desperate, I saw some on ####### for $100 a sleeve not sure about the shipping or if they would ship, and I bought some large rifle primers earlier this week from Budget that worked out to about $35 a sleeve shipped. I want to be reloading in the Winter when spring comes I lose interest. Might have been the wrong time to start reloading but I was gifted my reloading equipment.

Although reloading has gone up in price a lot, so have loaded rounds, 150 gr winchester 308 i bought at can tire 3 years ago for 23 bucks, is now 51.99, with tax, almost 3 bucks a round, doesn't take long to realize, reloading is still worth it, even at 40 cents a primer, I could reload those for about 1/2 price. See, then you can say you are making $1.50 a shot, or at least that's what I tell my wife.

Going bu auctions lately guys are willing to pay almost any price to get primers.

In these desperate times I was gifted some large rifle and magnum primers and offered some more from the personal supply of a couple of gun store employees, [from their personal stock], I am very grateful, I have enough primers now for a year or two, I am using the ignore button on anyone I happen to see selling primers at ridiculous prices, it is a free country so they can do what they want and I don't have to deal with them.

Is $32.95 to $42.95 per hundred for FED210M ridiculous? That is pretty much the retail price at a vendor on here and a LGS recently.

I would say yes, it is, considering pre-covid they were $6. I get that prices have gone up, but a 6-7 fold increase is ridiculous even with that in mind - I can't think of anything else in the firearms industry that has seen an increase of that scale. I fully expect Large Rifle primers to drop to around $10/box when supply finally exists, but that could be years away given the bull#### Russia and Israel are up to.

I agree it’s ridiculous but unfortunately I don’t think prices on reloading components will ever come down. Definitely won’t see $10.00CDN for 100 FED210 or 215 primers. Not after these new prices people will pay. Maybe $20 per hundred…..

All primers saw similar ridiculous price increases. Other than LRP those prices are back down substantially, I paid $9.99/100 for CCI pistol primers like a month ago (bought by the sleeve, not in bulk), and I don't think pistol primers have hit their floor yet as availability is still not what it was in 2018/2019. Even at $20/100 a lot of people are not buying, so when supply finally returns they will have to reduce prices to increase demand. What will the new equilibrium price be? Nobody really knows, but I doubt its going to be 4x what it was 5 years ago.

In March 2021 (so less than 3 years ago), I paid $99.79 at Cabela's.ca - they were picked up at their store in Saskatoon, Sask. - so AFTER the GST, PST but no shipping charges. That was for 1,000 Fed 210 primers. I thought that was a LOT to pay then - prices that I have seen since then just make me laugh / cry ...

In April 2021, I got 2,000 Fed 210M primers for $200.69 from Bullseye North.

I paid close to that if you factor in shipping, so that sounds high, but I also saw some for $100 a sleeve. At $100 a sleeve they should hang out with Galen Weston.

I just picked up 2000 new stock Rem small rifle 8enchrest primers @ 110.00 / 1000. I likely will never use any more than that in what's left of my lifetime...Then again...I almost think I should 8e getting some more..lol
