Whats with the BC CFO taking weeks to process an LTATT. I called and the lady i spoke with was as pleasant as a rug burn. Apparently they are really backed up, i jokingly told her she should work harder then. She didnt find my joke funny.

I don't think I'd find it funny either.:ang3
About as pleasant as a rug-burn I'd say.:yingyang:

Just sayin' Eh!:D

Tell her to work the ACTUAL hours they say they do. Open from 9-4:30 is a joke in the first place, never mind that you can't get ahold of them until 1pm at the best of times.

Never dealt with a #####y women that your tax dollars pay her wage.... must be nice.

She is lucky i was in a good mood until talking to her because she would have gotten an ear full. I don`t care about her problems, i just want to know why my appliciation hasnt processed yet and how to expidite it.

With that sort of attitude you might be waiting even longer.

Remember you catch more foies with sugar then you do with vinegar.

Your CFO's office is unlike any business you have ever dealt with. Your CFO is like a King. He or she has the power to refuse your ATT application and to revoke your PAL.

Never forget that.

The I thought it was funny part, probably found her putting your application down at the bottom of the pile again!!
I hope she didn't flag your file, it could be months till they clear that up.
Next time be nicer K, if you want to see it this year.

Geez. Last time I needed an ATT I walked into their office and handed the kind lady my PAL. Had my LTATT done in five minutes including a copy by email.

Sucks to be you.

That joke might have cost you another two to three weeks............

Here in quebec it's very long....

For example:
7 weeks for LTATT
8 weeks for transfer of AR15

I think they are slowing the process because of the end of registry....

Ya they don't use caller id at the cfo office. I just hope you were phoning from a ph booth.
This is weird because I phone in and 15 minutes later it is in my email, to be printed off.

Was this on friday?

Ya it was from a phone booth, the amazing part is I went back in time to find one. I managed time travel but still couldnt convince the lady at the cfo office.

Is this your first long term ATT? If so expect them to go over the application quite carefully - and do things like call your gun club to confirm your membership, confirm your RPAL with CFC etc. It took 2 weeks to renew mine after I renewed my RPAL. Generally speaking they're very quick at BC CFO, I've had transfers done within a couple of hours, of course I try to avoid poking the caged animals.
