LTT is excited to now offer a barrel shortening service for the Beretta 1301 that reduces overall length and weight for faster handling and improved control. The result is a lighter, more maneuverable shotgun with a clean, aggressive profile that looks as good as it performs.

Too bad we cant have shortened barrels on semis here
We can, talk to your favorite import/export company about having your firearms exported for gunsmithing services that are not legal to perform in Canada but which produce firearms that are legal to own in Canada.

A cut barrel on a semi cant be shorter than 18.5" here

The video is from the US.
You can have a shorter barrel here in Canada, the barrel just needs to be newly manufactured by a licensed manufacturer.
Beretta wont make factory short barrels. Canadas market is too small and I doubt alot of Americans will want to pay the $200 short barreled tax
A restricted class semi shotgun is pretty much useless in canada. I do however like the look

Almost, you can't cut that barrel here because cutting the barrel under 18" is an offense, owning a cut barrel is not an offense if no laws were broken to cut it.
If its not a manufacturers barrel made to the shorter length on your centerfire semi you're guilty it doesn't matter who or where the barrel was cut

They dont make the barrel. They cut the factory barrel
...which is a very intentionally made piece of kit.

Altering the distance between forcing cone and muzzle (where there was also a choke tube, now removed), has got to cause patterning problems. Aside from just being shorter, I believe these will be worse in every way than the OEM 18.5" barrel.

My $0.02

I've never noticed any patterning problems when cutting a barrel down. I have not gone below 18.5" though. You loose the choke and some poorly made guns the core of the pattern may shift slightly if the bore was not centered. But nothing I would call a problem. You get cylinder choke but if there's enough barrel thickness that could be jug choked or vancomped
I dont think these guys do anything that would be considered a cheap alteration and with their reputation I cant see there being any issues.
Seems like a lot of work to loose what 2.5" of barrel? Looks good though
