Although I would imagine this applies to all handguns...what kind of oil do you use on your Glock and/or other handguns?

I've got a Glock 21 , 45 acp . I've had it for two seasons and use it a fair amount ( approx 4000 rounds total ) .
I have used Lucas gun oil only on this gun , it has always worked well and it shows no signs of wear . I do clean it and re oil it after every outing , I think this helps a lot .
In this time I have broken a trigger spring and an extractor chipped , neither I would blame on wrong lube or no lube .
Just my 2 cents .

And just the barest of a trace of a drop on each of the 4 frame rails. The amount you get from a wipe from a loaded Q-tip.

Oh, and brush that Q tip across the "palm" of the connector, too.

Leave everything else DRY.

CLP works, but the ultimate in gun lube is still 5w30 synthetic :p It doesn't get dirty or dry out like gun lubes do. I also like how it stays wherever you put it.

CLP is glock recommended though so I wont take that away from people.

You need to also lube the barrel and the lug as well as the inner portion of the slide.

Do what the glockmeister says and you will be good, whitegrease also works amazingly well on the connector to smooth things out a little.

I used some Militec-1 on it this last time and will probably use RemOil from now on as my local store doesn't have CLP.
