The easy way to apply dry neck lube to case necks. Simply dip the cartridge case neck into the ceramic media. The media consists of high density ceramic spheres that are pre- charged with Imperial Dry Neck Lube.[/COLOR] (powdered graphite which is nothing more than fine carbon particles)

Who knew? Thanks for the tip.

I'm old school in reloading and still use my RCBS pad and lube. . 10 at a time with 5 cases each way. . a slight lube inside the neck makes it easier. .

Any leads on this being available somewhere in Canada?

I use a dollar store tupperware, a dollar store sponge pad inside and I spray in some dollar store Pam.

I rarely need anything for inside necks because I mostly use collet dies or nitride bushing dies. But the odd time I do I use dollar store que tips and a tiny bit of Lee lube that last years when only used for that purpose.

Come to think of it my brass media separator is a dollar store bucket with a dollar store mesh waste paper basket inside.

I have spent a LOT of money on reloading equipment but lubing brass does not require parts built by NASA.

I am going to get some of that, it looks a little more convenient than que tips. That Big ed has some good tips.

I've been using Lee case lube since the early 80's. I find it work great and according to Lee it isn't suppose to contaminate powder if it happens to get there. Works for me.

RCBS lube pad with RCBS or Redding lube, I like the non water soluble lubes best or Imperial Sizing Lube with my fingers, Lee sizig lube on a qtip for the necks.
In 36 years of reloading I have had one case stuck, I now own a stuck case extractor.

Good to know, I've seen the pads in several videos and contemplated purchasing one. If by thumbling method you mean applying the lube with my thumb and fingers....that's the method I used. Found I needed to lube every 4th or 5th round. I also read about using a cotton swap to apply a thin amount to the inside of the neck.
Can anyone confirm that, I was under the impression not to lube the inside.

unless using carbide dies I would be lubing every case. inside the neck depends on the case and which die you are using. graphite should not affect powder.
I have found that with bottle neck cases (.308 as an example) some times the primer won't completely clear the case and you have to run the round in again that's where most of my stuck cases have come about. not sure why as case was lubed. using sizing wax.

Make sure you flush out all LEE case lube from your dies as it well cause rust on the die steel.
I left LEE case lube in a sizing die for 5 days the first time I used it. When I checked the die the next time the inside was orange with rust. I was able to save the die, cleaned out the old lube and rust and relubed with a rust preventer EEZOX.
Now I just wipe on Imperial case wax with my fingers and use a Q-Tip with this wax to inside lube the case necks.
I sometime use Imperial liquid case lube on a RCBS lube pad. This lube is water soluble so it will wash off the pad easily.
The Imperial case neck lube system a small tub of graphite coated ceramics balls work very good too.

I have tied Redding "Dual Ring" carbide sizing dies for 357 Mag. This die is definitely superior to the single carbide ring Lyman sizing die I was using. Redding recommends case lubing when sizing in this dual ring carbide die, the lubed cases size is effortlessly I now lube cases while using single carbide ring sizing dies.
