I'm on the verge of reloading rifle cartridges for the first time. Up to this point, I've only reoaded .40 handgun rounds and have carbide dies so no lube needed. I have in my lube inventory, the bottle of Lee Lube that came with my Turret press. I also bought some Imperial Sizing Wax based on numerous suggestions of others. Now if memory serves, it says on the Lee lube to apply to entire case save the shoulders. There are no instructions with the Imprerial Wax. Is it the same procedure?

I'm going to reload for .303 and .30-30. I will FL resize the .30-30 while neck only on the .303.

Can you guys give me a quick summary as to how you tackle these two methods?

Use sparingly. I have no experience with the Lee lube and ever since I discovered Imperial wax, I've never looked back. Just dab your finger onto the wax and smear it all over the case. A very little amount will do a lot. With neck sizing, I still lube the neck, though a lot of people will say you don't have to. Just a tiny bit, otherwise you may get dents in the shoulder from too much. And brush the neck I.D. before lubing / sizing. This makes it much easier to pull your expander button back through and goes a long way for uniform tension on the bullet. Not to mention keeping grit off the button (= less eventual wear & galling). I chuck up a bore brush in the drill press and run all the cases over it before sizing.
