I cringe every time I see that video. It proves his point well, but I'm pretty sure that's a bad idea just the same. That, or I've been wasting my time making sure my loaded ammo is lube free.

I was just curious as to the comment re Mobil 1, were you being serious? Can we really use motor oil as lube?

You can and it'd be fine. It's used in your car which gets a lot mre wear and tear than your gun ever will and it works fine there.
