A little info on the carbine for those that are interested
The above carbine is referred as an 1920 carbine, three seperate variations of these carbines were manufactured. The 1902 initially for Kaiser Wilhelm whom had a deformed hand and could not hold a rifle properly for small game hunting.
The 1902 carbine was first one manufactured and differs slightly from the 1920 carbine pictured, the last is a commercial carbine.
The 1920 pictured if all correct is much more difficult to locate than the 1902 Carbine, also carbine ammo was slightly hotter as the blowback had to pull the long heavy barrel (11&3/4 inch) back which was assisted with a spring and plunger located in the forestock. Original DWM carbine ammo is headstamped 471-A in 30 luger.
Purchasing an original luger carbine in a cased set is not for the weak hearted, or make sure your pacemaker battery is new----very expensive but a extremely classy piece of old world craftsmanship.
