Luger P08 1916 all #`s match

Everyone's welcome, but unless you are selling the gun in Canada it's a bit strange to ask Canadians to put a value on it's worth.

The 12(X) thing has to do with the barrel length. The Luger in stock form has a limited market due to dumb Canadian gun laws.

well, it may be a little strange, but i heard you here really appreciate these, so i turned to you :)

We do appreciate Lugers, however we are the last people you should ask to try and price one of these guns. In Canada, this is a $400-$600 gun. Low supply and extremely limited demand play oddly on their price. A "similar" gun (9mm semi, and Prohibited) would be worth about $250 at the very most, but the desireability of being a Luger drives the price up. In the USA, this would be a $150 gun, maybe. Large supply with moderate demand drives down the price of this rather poor condition gun. In Serbia and the rest of Europe? Hell if I or anyone else here know. Deactivated Lugers in the UK seem to sell for around and above 1000 GBP.

We do appreciate them a whole lot, p38s even more, but due to our laws very very very few of us are allowed to own a p08 luger, I can't even imagine how you would sell one to a Canadian you being in Serbia, a whole lot more restrictions and laws to go through for that as well.

Maybe France would be a better bet for you, but I assume they probably have tons of p08s over there.

i would have to disagree with that, eventhouth it`s not perfect, for it`s age (98y) and the fact that it was constantly used but still has a perfect aim, no rust at all this gun is worth more than $500

What is it worth in Serbia?
Are there many restrictions and hurdles to legal gun ownership in your country?

Prohibited firearms cannot be imported into Canada no matter what. You would have to have a longer barrel installed first and then try to import.

can-down, there are little restrictions for gun ownership in our country, i mean, anyone can have a gun if he can afford to pay the taxes but it`s very rare these days to see someone to have a carrying licence, that`s what pisses me off the most. 10 years ago you could own and carry any peace you wanted whatsoever (as long as it`s not an automatic rifle ofc :D) but now you can own, but except cops and some very few people nobody can carry. for example, the city of Nis has aproximetly 260k residents but only 6 of them (that are not cops or ex cops) have the licence to carry, my grandfather will be the 7th one

well, they are not cruel at all, but you gotta pay them. during the 90' a lot of rare and good firearms were handed over to the police, 'cause the hyperinflation brought those taxes to enormous highs. my dad had two lugers one from 1916 like this one and one from 1917 and they were all original, even the magazines and were not shooters, but he had to hand them over. after the whole chaos he tried to get them back but it was impossible, so he got this one.
