Was possibly going to offer a 1941 Luger for sale. Gun is apparently unfired since the war and not refinished. Stamped with Nazi markings. Condition is suppose to be very good, was a war trophy brought back> Gun is a 12.6. Was wondering what sort of value the gun will sell for? Anything that could make it be higher or lower in value, markings wise? Thanks for any help on this. I dont have any pictures of it yet for reference. Figured some on this board probably have a few and could advise. Thanks;)

I bought this with two matching mags and holster about seven years ago for $175.
I would think you should be able to get double than that now. ;)

Wish there was a resonable non prohibited version (ie not the artillery ones).
I've always liked the Luger pistols.

My Grandfather had one of these from WWII. When he died we found a letter stating he gave it as a collector's item to a local church priest back in the 1960's. :(

yeah I wasnt sure, because I know some go for a premium...but in Canada with 12.6 and limited customers..wasnt sure whether the price was really out of whack.

If you had pictures it would help a lot. Are all the parts stamped with the same matching number? Are the magazines stamped the same? Bore condition? What year is stamped on it?

Ill come back to this thread when I get some pics.. thanks for the help so far.

It depends on who made the Luger the condition and if all the numbers match and does it come with the original holster. If you can give this info I can give you a value range.

There is a gunsmith in Delta BC that will re-barrel a Luger to get it out from the 12.6 category. If it is changed to 110mm from 102mm it is not really that noticeable. Seen one example and it looked good.
