I found pics of this last night. Looks kinda interesting considering they want to do conversion kits in .22LR, .40S&W and .45 GAP.

I don't really approve its look but....... if it somehow made it to Canuckistan we'll got another one to choose from which is good......

Hope the RCMP didn't consider it as a G3/MP5 variant......

Or a grease gun variant :p

I have seen one of them at a gun show here in Canada, and IIRC they were offered by one of the importers here a few years back in an issue of the Lethbridge Gunrunner.

We've been working on this for about 4 months now. We have an agreement with the manufacturer to distribute them in Canada and we've had them reviewed by CFC/RCMP. The original LUSA was made in Portugal and was/is a Full Auto and therefore classified as "Prohibited". The guns are now being made in the US using a new Semi-Auto receiver. The current production, US made, semi-auto is classified here as a "Restricted".

The problem right now is that US State Department has rejected the export permit based on their initial belief that the firearm is the full-auto police version. We have re-submitted the application and hope to get a decision shortly.

If the export permit application is approved we will have several Exclusive "Canadian" models to choose from, including a non-restricted version.

What sort of price range to be expected if they managed to be seen in Canuckistan?

Did anyone have the pics of it gets field-stripped? I can't get to the LUSA webpage right now.

Mark, I really want to thank you for all your work on behalf of the Canadian Firearms community! I know it can be a thankless task dealing with all this paperwork, so I want you to know it is appreciated and that I plan to purchase from you in the future.

What kind of company has such a tiny amount of bandwidth that when a few Canadians drop by to see their product the website crashes and stays crashed?

Someone needs to phone them!
