Well this came up in a previous thread.Anyone know, or care to speculate who it might be? or even better maybe the distributor is on the board here and can come forward?

I'm really interested in an upper, the SCAR situation looks like there is no end in sight.

SCAR is still better as it could be converted to non-restricted (in theory).

Actually Prophet River has some good #'s for importation, the problem is having the flashider removed, and what's stamped on the barrel.The M6A2 comes in a 14.7 length with a removable flashider, a pretty straight R&R for any competent gunsmith.Maybe the 3 of us should contact Clay at PR and see if we can go in on a "group" buy? I have already made contact with a couple of stocking dealers in the US.One of which can handle the R&R of the flashider.

Well to clarify the "group buy" there would be no discount per say.We may however make it easier for PR to file the permit, and the US dealer to 'sharpen his pencil", once again all speculation at this point.
Given the DOS's ups and downs, we will need help on both sides.

I'm not ready to commit yet. Good luck and let me know how things work out. Hopefully by the time I've made my mind up, we'll know who the distributor is.

We can new announce that we will be responsible for the commercial aspect of the LWRC line in Canada; currently we are at least 30-60 days from having finalized product that will be approved for export from the US. All Law Enforcement & Military inquiries will be forwarded to the master distributor, they will only handle inquires from agencies. We will make more announcements as they become available on the LWRC line, and thank everyone with their patience regarding this matter.

At this time the uppers are not available, and the export models are yet to be determined that will meet the State Departments criteria, we have already been told no 5.56 chambers/retractable stocks/flash hiders.

Sorry I forgot to add that aspect, barrels will limited to 16.1" barrels - sorry.

Is the REPR an AR variant? Maybe it can be converted to NR based on barrel length. The REPR parts won't interchange with a 308 AR...

It uses an AR lower, sorry no REPR hunting for Canucks.
