FWIW: The Insurgent to Virgin Teleport attachment is only for US Domestic and GOV end use. The general export version is limited to sporting use only.

Are we talking hammer forged chrome lined polygonal rifling barrels?
Final spec on barrels is yet to be determined as we *may* make an entry level model with a good quality barrel but not in the price point of say a primo, uber match grade barrel.
Hide all the pics of your rifle...
..make a bunch in plain dull grey/gray..
..take off all the tacti-kool stuff...
...make a 5 round only mag....
and a fixed stock.
THEN and only then..give it to the RCMP for Classification
someone just lie to me and tell me it will be three weeks 'till I have one in my hands.
Once again the by's from Newfoundland come through!![]()
NS and all, I appreciate the thoughts and comments.
The SABR rifle as posted is what it is. What I think I can say, Darren said it himself, is that LWRC is building rifles for sale in Canada, this will eventually include a .308Win.
Ottawa is following Canadian law, but someone in Washington will ultimately decide on the Canadian configuration.
So far, so good.
Until the .308 rifles are built and here and registered, our how's and why's are best not posted/discussed, IMO, so I'm going to have to respectfully bow back out of this thread.
For shooters looking to buy LWRC .223 and 6.8 in the nearer future, start gathering your shekels now.
So where are we at right now?
1. Have the RCMP been given a rifle to examine?
2. How long does it take for the RCMP to classify a rifle?
3. How long after a rifle is classified does it take the importer to get the rifles.
4. How long does it take to actually ship the rifles and get them across the border with paperwork?
5. What other hoops do they have to jump through?
