Lyman 2500 ultra sonic cleaner

As the title says,,,,Just bought one.....Question.....It say it cleans gun parts, I bought the solution for metal and gun parts.
I have a few hand guns that have plastic night sight as well as fiber optics. If I clean the uppers with the sonic cleaner will it damage the sights.

maybe, maybe not. it might mess with the glue holding the fiber optic sight, or do nothing at all. i would just use it to clean all metal objects.
