Hello, i'm trying to figure out the value of a lyman 450 sizer lube.
I have a kit with 2 molds. 2 wilson dies for 30-30 sizer and seater palm tree wax.. gas checks. A little pot to melt lead...
A little ratchet for the 450 press.
But I have no idea how much its worth...

Thanks for your help!

Condition always matters but roughly, the luber sizer is around $100 and the sizing dies for it about $20 each. A set of reloading dies about $20-40. I'm not very familiar with Wilson.

Casting molds are between $20 and $120. Are they worn out Lee aluminum molds or brand new custom made? Is the pot electric or just something from the thrift store used to cast with?

Most would probably sell as a set but I'm looking for some 30cal molds if you decide to part it out.

Casting and sizing bullets has become such an esoteric endeavour that it very much is a case of it's worth what the buyer you can find is willing to pay for it.

A new Lyman lubrisizer (model 4500, the successor to the one you have) is well over $200.

But, I bought my Lyman 4500 at an auction for $35. They had two models 450 at the same auction, I think both went under twenty bucks.

So evidently if you can find a market where people are looking for lubrisizers they can fetch a good dollar. Otherwise it's like trying to sell sand to a desert tribe.
